In Tom Ludvigson and Mike Weston’s PolyMath project, mathematics and technology encounter South Pacific craft traditions in a virtual space. The works are seeded mathematically in lines of computer code and processed into a perpetually evolving animation, conjuring woven forms evocative of Polynesia and the wider Pacific.
Weston and Ludvigson also collaborate on conceptual art/techno project LeVoleur, and previously Dr Tutu featuring Tame Iti (with Otis Frizzell), have produced video for international techno artists Dave Angel, Transmat Records (Derrick May Detroit) Nexus, and Alloy
